Betty – a 2-year-old black female, a field trial racing greyhound. (A greyhound lurcher) Born May 30, 2021. Betsy weighs 56 pounds. A little reserved at first around new people in new environments. Betty will just take time to warm up. Once she does, she’ll be just fine. “If we leave her for a little bit and then come back she will start chittering like crazy! Very cute! It is one of her ways of showing affection.” She is playful when she has the opportunity to be with other large hounds. She is microchipped, and fully vetted. No cats, and no small dogs! (Since someone will ask us, if Betty sees cats or small dogs, she fixates on them and growls. We learned this from her field trialer person, and confirmed with our own testing.) Smart, Betty learned stairs pretty fast.
