Dot (MJ ISeeTheLight) – female, white & black, 56E-68763, born 5/12/16. Weight 68#. No cats! Pretty, a sweetheart. Loves attention! She arrived from Florida in June 2018. She was chosen for the prison program because she is confident, friendly, outgoing. She has no fear of loud, sudden movements. With the prison dogs, this is what we call “bomb proof” to commotion! That was why she could even go to the prison program! Dot graduated from Putnamville Class # 31. Dot was a favorite of her offender-handler, and she had one of our best offender-handlers!  She was then adopted by a wonderful family of 2 parents, and 2 young children. Sadly, the 35 year old mother of the family recently died of Lupus. So Dot needs to be rehomed; her previous family has asked us to look for a new adopter that has the time for her. This greyhound is a gem!

We want to find the best possible home for Dot now; high preference will be given to those who have a fenced in yard. She just arrived into our foster care now. Her vaccines are current, and she has no hookworm, no heartworm, no parasites! But she does need a dental, which we will take care of. Dot is sweet, great with kids, and likes to be brushed. She likes to gently mouth your hand. Dot enjoys toys, but does not destroy them. Don’t let this sweetie pass you by!

6/17/18 – Dot was chosen for the prison program because she is confident and friendly. No cats! Went by the name Dot and also Light. Pretty, a sweetheart. Loves attention! Leaves the prison on August 16, accepting adoption fees now!
